Descent, 2024
Deep-Sea Aquarium and Museum

Descent is a deep-sea themed aquarium-museum hybrid that aims to playfully educate guests on the different zones of the ocean by guiding them through heavily themed areas with live species in carefully maintained viewing tanks.

Interactive elements through smartphone AR apps connect guests to the deepest depths as they adventure from the sunlight zone down to the dark abyss.

This group project was in collaboration between Ringling College of Art and Design's Entertainment Design and Graphic Design majors to create a themed educational experience.

Atomic Chair, 2024
FORM Student Innovation Competition

Every year Formica invited students to showcase their creativity through a unique design competition, FORM. For the 2024 FORM competition students were asked to interpret and design innovative furniture pieces around the concept of "Newstalgia".

The Atomic Chair was created to showcase sleek modern aesthetics of form blended with the iconic 1950's boomerang design imagery. Its main innovation comes from its ease of construction and deconstruction for users.
